CHIEF JUDGE OF OYO STATE JUDICIARY
Hon. Justice Iyabo Subulade Yerima was born on the 8<sup>th</sup> day September,1958 into the illustrious family of Akinloye of Oje-Itutaba Ibadan, in Ibadan North East Local Government. She attended Omolewa Nursery and Primary School, Oritamefa, Ibadan from 1962 - 1969 and St Margret Girl’s Secondary School, Ilesa from January 1970 - July 1974. She also attended Ibadan Grammar School, Ibadan from 1974 - 1975. She did her A-level in The Polytechnic, Ibadan from 1975 - 1977. His lordship was in University of Ife (now O.A.U) Ile-ife, from 1977 - 1981, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy, before proceeding to the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom (September 1981 - December 1983) for her L.L.B. She proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos for her B.L (Barrister at Law) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1985. She served her NYSC in the Faculty of Law, University of Ife, as an Assistant to the Faculty Officer and in the Law Reporting Section, from 1985 - 1986. His lordship began her legal career in Kaduna State, with her pupillage at Baba Amartey & Co. (Barristers & Solicitors) and went on to set up her own flourishing Law office/Chambers – Yerima & Co. (Barristers & Solicitors) also in Zaria, Kaduna State, from May 1986 - April 2001. His Lordship was sworn in as a Judge of the High court of Oyo State in June 2001. His Lordship has attended several International and National Conferences. She has received several awards, among which are: <ul> <li>Merit Award from the Lower Court Judges Association of Oyo State (December2022)</li> <li>ExemplaryLeadership Award (July 2012)</li> </ul>   She has served on several committees, one of which is - Chairman, Sub-Committee on Non-Custodial Sentencing, Administration of Criminal Justice Monitoring Committee, Oyo State. She is currently the Administrative Judge for the Oyo State Judiciary. His lordship enjoys Reading, Travelling, Organization of Social and Administrative functions, she is also an active participant in Church and Evangelistic Activities. She is married, with children and grandchildren.  

HON. JUSTICE R. B. AKINTOLA

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hon Justice Boyede Racheal Akintola was born 15<sup>th</sup> August, 1964 and She is married to Chief Adeniyi akintola (SAN) and the marriage is blessed with children and grandchildren. She had some wonderful Working experience as a youth corp lawyer with the federal mortgage Bank Ibadan, Ibadan in 1987-1988, also served as a junior counsel in the chambers of J.B Lawson and company, Ibadan. In 1989. She joined the ministry of justice, old Oyo state became a senior state counsel in 1991, and later joined the Oyo state Judiciary in 1992 as a senior Magistrate Grade II and rose to the post of Chief Magistrate in 2005. HON. JUSTICE O. M. OLAGUNJU

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hon Justice Olusegun Muniru Olagunju was born on 11<sup>th</sup> September, 1958 in Ibadan. He attended Fatima college, Ikire between 1973-1977, he proceeded to college of Art and Science, Ile-Ife between 1978-1979, he briefly worked as a teacher in Ibadan city Academy, Ibadan between 1979 and 1980. He then proceeded to university of  Lagos in 1980 from where he bagged his bachelor of law(L.L.B) in 1983. He attended the Nigeria Law School and graduated in 1984, he was subsequently called to the Nigeria Bar in 1984. He joined as a junior Counsel in the Chambers of the Late Chief Agbo Olaleye between 1985-1986.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">He later worked in the Chief M.L Lagunju Chambers from 1986-1988. He established his own personal Chambers Segun Lagunju & Co in Ibadan where he was the principal Counsel from 1988-2006. He was called to Bench on 4<sup>th</sup> January, 2006.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hon Justice Adegboye Ayinla Gbolagunte was born 10<sup>th</sup> December 1959.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">He attended Lagos Municpal Primary School Obele-Odan, Itire Road, Surulere, Lagos State from (1965-1966) and moved to Lagos Progressive Primary School, 15, M.B.A Street, off Adeniran Ogunsanya Street, Surulere, Lagos State from (1967-1971).</p> <p style="text-align: left;">He also attended Birch Freeman  High School, 3, Aboki Crescent, Surulere, Lagos State from (1972-1976) And later moved to Federal School of Arts and Science,(now King’s College Annex) Adeyemo Alakija, Victoria Island, Lagos from (1976-1978).</p> <p style="text-align: left;">The Higher Institutions he attended are University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State from (1978-1982) and moved to University of Ibadan, Ibadan from (1983-1986) and finally moved to Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">His Educational qualifications are</p> <ul style="text-align: left;"> <li>First School Leaving Certificate obtained December, 1971.</li> <li>West African School Certificate (Ordinary Levels) obtained June 1976.</li> <li>West African School Certificate(HSC) (Advanced Levels) obtained June 1978.</li> <li>Bachelors of Science B. <p style="text-align: justify;">Hon. Justice O.I Aiki was born 25<sup>th</sup> July, 1957, and she hails from Afijio in Oyo state Nigeria. She is a Christian by religion and married as well. She attended Awe High School, Awe from (1969-1971), and later went to Kiriji Memorial College, Igbajo (1972-1973) where she obtained Her West African School Certificate. She then attended Polytechnic, Ibadan from (1974-1976) where she obtained her Ordinary National Diploma in Secretarial Studied, and finally, she moved to The University Of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile-Ife from (1983-1987) Where she obtained her Bachelor of Law (LL.B). She later went to Nigerian Law School, Lagos from (1987-1988) where She obtained her Barrister-at-Law (B.L) Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme court of Nigeria.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She gained working experiences in the areas of Deputy Chief Registrar Grade II/Director (2001-2005), Acting Deputy Chief Registrar Grade I (2005), Deputy Chief Registrar Grade I (2005-2006), Chief Registrar 2006, Judge, High Court of Oyo State July 2006 till date.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Honourable Justice Oluwatoyin Mojisola Fadeyi was born into the family of Chief Niyi Akintola and Late Mrs. Bolank; Elizabeth Akintola. She embarked on her Primary School Education at Sacred Hearts Nursery and Primary School, Akinyemi Way, Ring Road, Ibadan. Thereafter, she started and completed her Secondary School Education at Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Mary Way, Ago-Tailor, Ibadan. She obtained her LLB Degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in October 1990. She proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a qualified Solicitor and Advocate of Nigeria in December, 1991.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">During her MSC, she served with J.A Achimaju Solicitors and Advocate in Kaduna State. After which she relocated to Ibadan to kickstart her Law Profession at the chambers of Chief Niyi Akintola FA, Co. After 20 years of great service, she went ahead to start her chambers in 2011, at Sango, Ibadan, Oyo State.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Hon. Justice O.M Fadeyi was sworn in as a High Court Judge on 27th May, 2013, after practicing for 22years through the Grace and Mercy of God.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">During her 9 years at the bench, she has served at Ibadan Judicial Division, Ogbomosho Judicial Division and Currently Serving at Igboora Judicial Division. Also, she is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliator (CMC) and also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb). Justice Fadeyi is an avid lover of God and a great philanthropist. Her core values include Diligence, Justice, Fairness, Hardwork and. Sincerity. Justice Fadeyi is Married and Blessed with 3 Beautiful Daughters.</p>

HON.JUSTICE E. O. AJAYI

<p style="text-align: justify;">Ezekiel Oyeyemi Ajayi was born on the 21<sup>st</sup> of August 1965, hails from Ogbomoso south, Oyo central. His academic career began at Methodist Primary School, Arowomale, Ogbomoso, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1978. Thereafter, he started his Secondary School Education at Soun High School, Ogbomoso from 1979 - 1984. In furtherance of his education, he attended the Federal School of Art & Science, Suleja. Lagos from 1986 – 1987.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Honourable Justice Ezekiel Oyeyemi Ajayi is an alumnus of the University of Lagos, where he studied Law from 1989 – 1992. And immediately went to Nigerian Law School in 1992, and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a qualified Solicitor and Advocate of Nigeria in 1993.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">He has been a High Court Judge of the Oyo State Judiciary from 27<sup>th</sup> May 2013 till date. A member of the Oyo State Local Government Election Tribunal and member of the Oyo State Local Government Appeal Tribunal. And also an Affiliate Fellow of the Institute of Conciliations and Mediators, Nigeria.</p>

HON. JUSTICE M. L. OWOLABI

<p style="text-align: justify;">Honourable Justice  Mohammed Lekan Owolabi was born on the 1<sup>st</sup> April, 1968 in Accra, Republic of Ghana, a native of Saki, in Saki West Local Government Area. Oyo State. He obtained his Primary Education at Parapo Community Grammer School. Oyo from 1981 - 1986, and further attended Ansar UD Deen High School, Saki. Oyo state where he obtained his A Level certificate in 1988. He obtained he LLB Degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in 1992, proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a qualified Solicitor and Advocate of Nigeria in 1993.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Honourable Justice Mohammed Lekan Owolabi has served as a Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association of Nigeria, Ibandan Branch. And was called to bench as a Judge in on the 27<sup>th</sup> of May, 2013.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">As a Judge, Honourable Justice Mohammed Lekan Owolabi has served in various ad hoc committees of the Oyo state Judiciary:</p> <ol style="text-align: left;"> <li>Member, committee on Selection of Eligible Officers of Oyo State Judiciary to attend both Local and International Conferences for the year 2015 and 2016.</li> <li>Committee on Review on High Court (Civil Procedure Rules) of Oyo state.</li> <li>Committee on Formulation of Rules for the Implementation of Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Oyo State.</li> </ol> <p style="text-align: left;">During his 9 years at the bench, he has served at Ibadan Judicial Division from June – September 2013, Oyo Judicial Division from 2013 to 2016, Ibadan Judicial Division from 2016 to 2019, and currently at Ogbomoso Judicial Division.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hon. Justice Lateef Adebayo Ganiyu was born on 7<sup>th</sup> July, 1966 in Iseyin, Iseyin Local Government, Oyo state. He schooled at Muslim Grammar school, Iseyin between 1980-1985 and obtained WASC O-LEVEL in 1986. He proceeded to Ansar-ud-deen High School, Saki, Oyo State between 1986-1987 and obtained WASC A-LEVEL in 1987. The  Ibadan Polytechnic Continuing Education Centre, Ibadan between January to October 1988. He attended the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, Lagos State for his LL.B (HONS) between 1989-1992. He attended the Nigeria Law School in 1993, and was called to Bar. He proceeded to the Obafemi Awolowo University of Ife, Osun State for his LL.M between 1996-1997.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Lateef Adebayo Ganiyu was sworn in as a Judge of the Oyo State High Court of Justice on the 26<sup>th</sup> June, 2014. HON. JUSTICE A. O. LAJIDE

<p style="text-align: justify;">Hon Justice Adebuloka Olatunde Lajide was born 5th August, 1968 in Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria. He is a Christian by religion and he is married. He attended Sacred Heart Nursery and Primary School, Ibadan from(1971-1979) and later went to Government College Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State,  from (1979-1982) and International School Ibadan, University of Ibadan from (1982-1986) for his secondary schools. His tertiary institutions are Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Osun State (LL.B) 1991, Nigerian Law School Victoria Island, Lagos(B.L) 1992, University of Lagos Akoka, Lagos (LL.M) 1998.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">His working experiences include Stella Atake & Co, Western House, 8/10, Broad Street, Lagos (NYSC) from (1992-1993), Akin Sanda & Co western House, 8/10 Broad Street, Lagos (1993-1995) with position as counsel in the chamber, Lajide & Lajide Wester House, 8/10, Street, Lagos (1995-2017) position as principal partner.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">His Affiliations are-</p> <ul style="text-align: left;"> <li>Associate member, Charter Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom.</li> <li>Fellow Institute of Conciliators and Mediators, Nigeria.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: left;">He is now a present Judge at the Oyo State High Court Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State appointed on the 5th of October 2017.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Olusola Adebisi Adetujoye was born on 23<sup>rd</sup> August, 1965 to the family of Late Chief and Mrs. Lawrence Adebayo Akintola of Alajiki Compound, Oyo town. Her academic career began in Baptist Day school, Oke-Isokun, Oyo in1970, where she obtained her First School Leaving certificate in 1975. She attended Olivet Baptist High School, Olivet Heights, Oyo between 1975 and 1983 for her West African School Certificates (O’ level and A’ level). She thereafter proceeded to the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where she obtained a B.A. Religious Studies/English between 1983 and 1986.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">After her Youth Corp in 1987, she went back to study Law at Obafemi Awolowo University and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree LLB Hons in 1990 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law school, Victoria Island, Lagos, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991. Olusola started her legal career at the Chambers of Bandele Aiku & Co., Legal Practitioners, she was there between January 1992 till October 1993.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She became the Legal/Corporate Affairs Manager at Commercial Bond Finance and Securities Limited, Ibadan between November 1993 and June 1996 when she joined Akinige & Co. Legal Practitioners, Ibadan.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">Mrs. Adetujoye commenced her career in the Oyo State Judiciary as a Senior Magistrate Grade II in February 2001. She rose through the rank and became Chief Magistrate Grade I in 2007. She was appointed as a Deputy Chief Registrar II in May 2015 in charge of Litigation, Bailiffs, and Enforcement Sections and was promoted in 2018 as Deputy Chief Registrar. She was sworn in as a Judge of the High Court of Justice, Oyo State on the 12<sup>th</sup> of October, 2021. She is a Chartered Arbitrator and Mediator and her hobbies include Reading, Singing, and Playing Games</p>

HON. JUSTICE B. F. SEGUN-OLAKOJO

<p style="text-align: justify;">Mrs. Folabimpe Beatrice Segun-Olakojo  (née Akinwale) was born in the year 1967 to the family of Chief Samuel Olasupo Akinwale and Elizabeth Omolara ofEgbeda local Government in Ibadan.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She attended St. Andrews Primary School, Okene, between 1971 and 1976, and had her Secondary School at Lennon Memorial College, Okene, where she finished in 1980. She later attended St. Annes School in Ibadan between 1981-1982. She proceeded to England where she obtained her intermediate   Certificate in Law at the University College, Buckland in Oxfordshire (an affiliate of University of London) in 1984. She obtained her LL.B from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife with a Second Class Upper Division in 1991, and was called to Bar in December, 1992, having obtained her B.L with Honours. She obtained her LL.M from the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Lagos in 2006. She had her Youth Service Corp in the Law Firm of Chief Toye Coker (SAN) & Co. between 1993 and 1994. She was employed as a State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice, Oyo State in 1994. She has since rose through the ranks as a Public Servant Legal Practitioner and has acquired vast experience and expertise in a wide range of areas of law especially in the Public Sector.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She started as a prosecutor in the Department of Public Prosecution where she successfully prosecuted numerous cases. She was one of the youngest Counsel to be made the Administrator-General and Public trustee of oyo state a position she occupied when she was just a Senior State Counsel.  She had worked in the Civil Litigation and Advisory Department and headed the same department as Director before she was appointed as the Acting Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary in May, 2021. She was also Director, Oyo State Mediation Centre and Legal Drafting and Parliamentary Counselling.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She has served in various Boards/Committees and is still a member of some before she was elevated to the  bench. She is a member of the International Bar Association, The Nigerian Bar Association, and the International Federation of Women Lawyers, and has held various leadership roles in these organisations. She was the Financial Secretary and Assistant Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ibadan Branch between 1994 to 1997 and 1997 to 1999 respectively. She was the Social Secretary, International Federation of Women Lawyers, Ibadan Branch between 2001 and 2007. She has delivered several papers on a wide range of subjects that bothers on Public Interest Law. The papers include but not limited to: “Legal Framework of the Oyo State Multi-Door Courthouse Law, 2017” “Searchlight on Oyo State Health Insurance Law” Eliminating Violence Against the Girl-Child” The Young Nigerian Lawyer, His Roles, Relevance and Contributions Towards Sustaining National Development, Peace, Security and Sustainable Democracy in Nigeria; Ways Forward” “Mediation Skills” e.t.c. She has attended several seminars and workshops.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She is a skilled Legal Draftsman, an excellent advocate, a Certified Mediator and a Fellow of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Society. She has drafted a number of Bills which are now Laws of Oyo State, and she has handled a lot of cases in Court on behalf of the State.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She is very passionate about Law Practice, the Legal Profession and mentoring young Lawyers. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, listening to music and singing. She was elevated and sworn in as a Judge of Oyo State High Court in October  2021.</p> <p style="text-align: left;">She is currently a High Court Judge of the Oyo State Judiciary heading the Moniya Jurisdiction.</p>
